Few names in the Harrows range are as recognisable as Supergrip. Built around a simple principle of providing players with a strong, dependable grip and consistent release, the range has become a familiar sight on oches around the world.

Now, Harrows is bringing the Supergrip name into its latest generation of dart technology.

Combining the distinctive grip profiles that established the range with the Harrows Quick Point System, giving players the ability to change their steel tip points in seconds while retaining the familiar characteristics of Supergrip.

With classic models receiving the QP treatment alongside multiple barrel profiles, this is one of the most significant updates to the Supergrip family in years.

What Is Harrows Supergrip?

Supergrip has built its reputation around exactly what its name suggests: grip.

The barrels use pronounced ring cuts to create strong, clearly defined contact points beneath the fingers. Rather than relying on highly complex machining, the design provides direct tactile feedback that makes it easier for players to locate their preferred grip position and repeat it throw after throw.

Manufactured from 90% tungsten, Supergrip has become a long-standing part of the Harrows line-up and a popular choice for players looking for a higher level of grip without moving towards increasingly aggressive modern barrel designs.

The latest generation keeps those principles firmly intact while introducing one major change.

Supergrip Meets Quick Point

At the centre of the new collection is the Harrows Quick Point System.

Quick Point allows players to remove and replace their steel tip dart points within seconds using the dedicated Quick Point Tool. Instead of requiring a traditional repointing machine, players can change between compatible point lengths, colours and styles far more easily.

That opens up considerably more freedom when experimenting with a setup.

Players can adjust their point configuration to alter the overall feel of the dart, experiment with different board grip characteristics or simply replace a worn or damaged point without having to completely repoint the dart using traditional equipment.

By introducing the system to Supergrip, Harrows is combining one of its most established barrel concepts with one of the biggest developments in its current dart range.

The Classic Supergrip QP

For players who already know the original Supergrip, the Supergrip QP provides perhaps the most familiar starting point.

Manufactured from 90% tungsten, the barrel retains the pronounced full-length ring machining associated with the range, producing strong traction and clear feedback throughout the grip area.

The major difference is at the front of the dart, where the traditional steel point has been replaced by the Quick Point system.

Available across an extensive selection of weights from 21g through to 30g, it allows existing Supergrip players to move into the Quick Point ecosystem without completely changing the style of barrel they are accustomed to throwing.

Supergrip Black QP

The Supergrip Black QP takes the established design in a darker direction.

The familiar 90% tungsten barrel is finished with a durable black titanium nitride coating, giving the dart a more distinctive appearance while maintaining the pronounced ring grip that defines the Supergrip range.

Its front-loaded profile and full-length grip provide plenty of feedback for players who prefer a firm connection with the barrel, while the addition of Quick Point adds considerably more flexibility to the setup.

Like the standard Supergrip QP, the Black edition is available across a wide range of steel tip weights from 21g to 30g.

It is unmistakably Supergrip, but with a more premium finish and the added versatility of Harrows' latest point system.

Supergrip Ultra QP

First introduced as the second generation of the Supergrip concept, Supergrip Ultra takes the characteristic grip style of the original and develops it further.

Its 90% tungsten front-tapered barrel features a combination of deep single and dual rings, producing the distinctive high-grip feel associated with the range.

A black coating is applied before the barrel is re-cut, exposing sections of natural tungsten and creating the recognisable two-tone Supergrip Ultra finish.

For the latest generation, Harrows has added Quick Point compatibility to create the Supergrip Ultra QP.

The result combines a more contemporary interpretation of Supergrip with the convenience and customisation offered by interchangeable points.

Built for Consistency

Despite the introduction of new technology and additional profiles, consistency remains central to the range.

The latest Supergrip QP barrels are manufactured from 90% tungsten and match weighed to tight tolerances, helping maintain a consistent feel across all three darts.

Steel tip sets are supplied ready to play with Harrows Quick Points, Supergrip shafts, 100-micron flights and a Quick Point Tool, allowing players to use and adjust the system straight from the box.

It means the latest generation isn't simply about adding interchangeable points. Harrows has developed Supergrip into a much broader family while retaining the grip characteristics that made the name so recognisable in the first place.

An Icon Evolves

Harrows has taken the Supergrip concept and applied it across several different shapes, allowing players to choose a barrel that better complements their grip position and throwing style.

The Supergrip QP Tapered offers a longer tapered profile and is available from 22g through to 30g, retaining the deep single and dual ring cuts associated with the range.

For players who prefer more weight concentrated through the body of the dart, the Supergrip QP Torpedo provides a broader profile in 22g, 23g and 24g.

At the more compact end of the range, the Supergrip QP Bomb offers a shorter 44mm barrel in 23g and 25g, providing another very different interpretation of the Supergrip formula.
