Five new barrel designs, five distinctive grip profiles and another addition to Mission's growing Rapid Point collection.
Introducing the Mission BLUPRNT Collection
Leading the October launch is the all-new Mission BLUPRNT Collection, featuring five distinctive 90% tungsten barrel designs: SKTCH 001, REFND 002, DSGND 003, SHAPD 004 and FORMD 005.
Each model has been developed around a different combination of grip characteristics and barrel geometry, allowing players to explore a variety of throwing styles within one coordinated range.
The collection moves from the evenly balanced simplicity of a straight barrel to more specialised profiles incorporating scallops, aggressive grip patterns and forward-weighted designs.
Despite their differences, all five models share a 90% tungsten construction and the convenience of Mission's interchangeable R2.5 Rapid Point System.
Here's a closer look at each design.
BLUPRNT SKTCH 001 - Classic Straight Barrel Control
The Mission BLUPRNT SKTCH 001 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts offer a traditional straight barrel profile with a distinctive approach to grip.
Featuring rounded, beaded grip sections, SKTCH 001 provides a softer, textured contact surface compared with more aggressive ring-cut or shark-fin designs.
The straight barrel shape delivers an even balance, making it a versatile option for players who prefer a consistent profile along the length of their darts.
Its rounded grip detailing offers defined finger contact without relying on particularly sharp edges, creating a different feel from the more pronounced designs elsewhere in the collection.
For players who favour a familiar straight barrel with a textured grip, SKTCH 001 provides a natural starting point within the BLUPRNT range.
BLUPRNT REFND 002 - Defined Scalloped Grip
The Mission BLUPRNT REFND 002 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts introduce a more pronounced grip profile, built around a distinctive scalloped barrel design.
Featuring deep radial cuts and clearly defined grip zones, REFND 002 is designed for players who prefer a stronger sense of finger positioning during their throw.
The scalloped sections create natural reference points along the barrel, helping players locate a familiar grip position each time they approach the oche.
Its combination of barrel shaping and deeper grip cuts provides a more pronounced hold than the rounded, beaded texture of SKTCH 001.
For players who appreciate a clearly defined grip position and a scalloped barrel profile, REFND 002 offers a distinctive alternative.
BLUPRNT DSGND 003 - Versatile Grip and Finger Positioning
The Mission BLUPRNT DSGND 003 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts combine several different grip styles within a tapered barrel design.
Featuring a combination of shark-fin cuts, fine rings and smooth scalloped sections, DSGND 003 provides a varied surface with different contact points along the barrel.
The tapered profile offers a different feel from a traditional parallel design, while the mixture of grip textures allows players to explore different finger placements.
The more aggressive shark-fin sections provide pronounced grip, while the finer rings and smoother scallops offer contrasting surfaces for players who prefer a more varied hold.
DSGND 003 is an interesting option for players who like combining different grip textures rather than relying on one continuous pattern.
BLUPRNT SHAPD 004 - Forward-Weighted Precision
The Mission BLUPRNT SHAPD 004 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts take a more compact approach, featuring a distinctive forward-weighted bullet barrel profile.
Designed with aggressive shark-fin grip detailing, SHAPD 004 provides a pronounced contact surface for players who favour a stronger grip sensation.
The bullet-shaped barrel concentrates more of its weight towards the front, creating a different balance and throwing feel compared with the straight and tapered designs in the collection.
Its aggressive grip pattern is intended to provide a secure hold, while the forward-weighted profile gives players another option when choosing how their darts sit and release from the hand.
For those who prefer a compact barrel with a stronger front-weighted character, SHAPD 004 offers one of the most distinctive profiles in the BLUPRNT range.
BLUPRNT FORMD 005 - Traditional Torpedo Design
Completing the new collection is the Mission BLUPRNT FORMD 005 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts, combining a classic torpedo barrel with carefully positioned grip detailing.
FORMD 005 features a smooth conical nose, radial ring cuts and a central reference band, creating a traditional barrel shape with clearly defined contact surfaces.
The central reference band provides a consistent visual and tactile point for grip placement, while the radial rings offer additional texture along the barrel.
Its torpedo profile provides an alternative to the straight SKTCH 001 and the forward-weighted bullet shape of SHAPD 004.
For players who prefer a classic torpedo design with an identifiable central grip position, FORMD 005 completes the BLUPRNT collection with another distinct option.
Five Designs - Which BLUPRNT Darts Suit Your Throw?
One of the biggest strengths of the new Mission BLUPRNT Collection is the variety of barrel shapes and grip profiles available across the five models.
SKTCH 001 offers a classic straight barrel with rounded, beaded grip sections and an even balance.
REFND 002 introduces a scalloped profile with deep radial cuts for players who prefer clearly defined grip zones.
DSGND 003 combines shark-fin cuts, fine rings and smooth scallops within a tapered barrel, offering varied finger positioning.
SHAPD 004 features a forward-weighted bullet profile with aggressive shark-fin detailing for a more pronounced hold.
FORMD 005 provides a traditional torpedo shape with radial rings and a central reference band for repeatable grip placement.
Rather than offering five variations of the same barrel, Mission has created a collection with meaningful differences in grip, balance and overall shape.
All five models also incorporate the R2.5 Rapid Point System, giving players the flexibility to adjust compatible point setups without changing their chosen barrel.
New Mission R2.5 MG1 Rapid Points
Alongside the BLUPRNT Collection, Mission has introduced the new R2.5 MG1 Rapid Points, expanding the options available within its interchangeable point range.
The MG1 design features a fine linear micro-cut grip pattern, providing a textured surface for players who prefer additional finger reference around the point.
A gradually tapered profile is designed to support smooth board entry, combining a refined point shape with precision grip detailing.
Available in 30mm, 35mm and 40mm, the new MG1 points give players a choice of lengths when refining their dart setup.
As part of the R2.5 Rapid Point range, they are designed for use with compatible Mission barrels, allowing point changes without traditional repointing equipment.
Whether you're experimenting with point length or looking for a different grip texture, MG1 adds another customisation option to Mission's expanding system.
Mission October Launch 2026 - Find Your Perfect Fit
The Mission October 2026 launch places barrel choice and customisation at the centre of its latest release.
The new BLUPRNT Collection introduces five individual 90% tungsten designs, each offering its own combination of barrel shape, grip and balance.
From the rounded grip of SKTCH 001 to the scalloped REFND 002, versatile DSGND 003, forward-weighted SHAPD 004 and traditional torpedo-shaped FORMD 005, the collection offers a broad selection of profiles for different playing preferences.
The addition of R2.5 MG1 Rapid Points provides even more flexibility, allowing players with compatible darts to explore different point lengths and grip characteristics.
Whether you're searching for a completely new barrel or making adjustments to your current setup, Mission's latest collection offers plenty of ways to refine your equipment.
