Five Stories, Five New Darts
Target Japan returns with a new collection that puts its players firmly at the centre of the design process.
The latest Target Japan Launch introduces five new steel tip sets, ranging from the latest generations of established signature darts to a unique limited-edition collaboration celebrating two champions.
Paul Lim, Mitsumasa Hoshino, Toru Suzuki and Mayuko Morita all receive new signature models, while Mikuru Suzuki and Haruki Muramatsu come together for one of the most distinctive Target Japan releases to date.
Different inspirations, different barrel profiles and completely different approaches to grip – but all unmistakably Target Japan.
Two Champions. One Historic Set.
Leading the collection is something a little different.
The Target Japan The Miracle Rising Sun Limited Edition Champions Set celebrates Mikuru Suzuki and Haruki Muramatsu becoming the Ladies' and Men's Annual Ranking Champions in the same JAPAN PROFESSIONAL SOFT DARTS TOUR season, as well as their marriage.
Rather than simply placing two existing darts into one presentation set, Target Japan has brought elements of both signature barrels together to create one unique 95% tungsten design.
The front takes inspiration from Mikuru Suzuki's Miracle G7, incorporating its intricate infinite mirror-inspired milling and distinctive blue-green finish. At the rear, the barrel transitions into elements of Haruki Muramatsu's Rising Sun G10, including its racing-inspired design and recognisable wheel motifs.
It's a genuine fusion of two signature darts, combining the characteristics associated with both players into a single barrel.
Each set also features its own individually laser-engraved serial number and exclusive K-Flex, completing a release designed as much for collectors as players.
Paul Lim The Legend Gen 10
Few names carry the same history in darts as Paul Lim, and his Target Japan signature series now reaches an incredible tenth generation.
The Paul Lim The Legend Gen 10 returns to a classic front-tapered profile, but introduces an entirely new grip architecture inspired by the refined hardware found in traditional equestrian equipment.
Precision-machined from 90% tungsten, the rear features raised three-dimensional rectangular cuts with multiple angled surfaces. The result is strong multidirectional traction with a clearly defined feel beneath the fingers.
Towards the front, the machining becomes denser and slightly milder, creating a different grip characteristic for players who naturally hold further forward.
At the centre sits a plate featuring Paul Lim's laser-etched signature, providing another tactile reference point along the barrel.
Finished with an understated PVD Silica coating and equipped with 30mm Swiss Points and Intermediate No.2 K-Flex, The Legend Gen 10 is available in 23g and 25g.
Pyro G12 - Built Around Speed
The Pyro series has never been subtle, and generation twelve takes that philosophy even further.
Developed with Mitsumasa Hoshino, the Target Japan Pyro G12 takes inspiration from the speed, mechanical detail and explosive power of a high-performance motorcycle.
Its 90% tungsten torpedo barrel is weighted towards the front, creating a direct and forward-driven feel through the throw.
The front section is one of the biggest departures from previous Pyro generations. Pronounced flame-inspired milling provides substantial traction and makes the front of the barrel a much more prominent grip area – particularly for players who prefer a front grip.
Mechanical influences continue through the centre and rear, where engine-inspired detailing, alternating delta cuts and polygonal rings create several distinct areas of feedback.
A premium Black PVD finish completes the design, with 30mm Swiss Points and Intermediate No.2 K-Flex supplied as standard.
Sereno G3 - Designed for the Rear Gripper
Where Pyro G12 is inspired by speed and aggression, Sereno G3 takes an altogether different approach.
Developed alongside Toru Suzuki, the Target Japan Sereno G3 draws inspiration from the Andes Mountains and Suzuki's Peruvian heritage.
The biggest change is its new 90% tungsten barrel profile.
A pronounced scallop towards the rear creates a natural location point for the fingers, helping players repeatedly settle into the same grip position. That makes Sereno G3 particularly interesting for rear grippers looking for a clearly defined reference point.
Moving forward, snowflake-inspired machining through the centre provides additional tactile feedback, while densely arranged deep ring cuts towards the front create another usable grip zone.
The barrel is finished with the vivid blue colour associated with the Sereno series and comes equipped with 30mm Swiss Points and Intermediate No.2 K-Flex.
Mayo G8 - A Completely Different Character
Mayuko Morita's latest signature dart takes Target Japan in a much more playful direction.
The Target Japan Mayo G8 uses a compact 90% tungsten torpedo profile designed to produce a fast, direct feel through the throw.
But it's the machining that really separates this generation.
Three rows of square motifs at the front take their inspiration from a slot machine, incorporating details including cat paws, lightning bolts and smile details. They're not purely decorative either, with the precision-milled shapes creating additional tactile feedback beneath the fingers.
Towards the rear, traditional shark cuts provide a firmer grip, with additional dot detailing incorporated into the machining.
A striking PVD Purple finish with contrasting gold accents brings everything together, giving Mayo G8 one of the most distinctive appearances in the entire launch.
New Pyro & Mayo K-Flex Designs
The launch doesn't stop at the barrels.
Target Japan has also expanded its K-Flex collection with dedicated designs for two of the new signature ranges.
The new Pyro G2 K-Flex and Mayo K-Flex systems are available in both No.2 and No.6 shapes, allowing players to carry the distinctive styling of the respective ranges throughout their setup.
It adds another layer of customisation to a launch already built around individual player identity.

What makes this Target Japan launch particularly interesting is just how different each release feels.
The Miracle Rising Sun Champions Set combines two established signature designs into a unique collector's release. The Legend Gen 10 continues Paul Lim's incredible signature series with an intricate new grip. Pyro G12 delivers an aggressive front-weighted torpedo, while Sereno G3 introduces a pronounced rear scallop. Then there's Mayo G8, with its compact profile, playful machining and unmistakable purple and gold finish.
There isn't one barrel shape or grip philosophy defining the collection.
Instead, Target Japan has created five very different darts around the individual identities, preferences and stories of the players behind them.
